With a limited edition run, this plate is meticulously handmade and features an incised signature on the bottom.
The design, inspired by Japanese ceramics, is created using a unique technique of extruding multicolored porcelain into predetermined shapes and bundling them together. These large blocks are then sliced to reveal the intricate design, which is consistent both on the outside and inside of the plate.
This 10.5" x 10.25" work of art, 1-1/8" deep and weighing 1lb 12oz, is slab built with expert care and not thrown or slip cast.
