This art pottery sculpture, from Nora Herz Duck Studio, measures 8 inches in length, stands at 4-5/8 inches tall, and has a width of 3.25 inches. It weighs a total of 1lb 2oz and is in flawless condition with no chips or cracks. These measurements and details indicate the high quality and excellent condition of this pre-war MCM sculpture. 

Nora Herz exhibited at the Syracuse Nationals in 1956. She not only worked as a potter, but as a sculptor, as well as at other museums. Her history is included in the following museums of the Smithsonian and Jewish Museum of Berlin, where there was an exhibition entitled Tonalities Jewish Women Ceramicists from Germany after 1933, where her work was included with other great potters: Margarete Heymann-Loebenstein , Eva Samuel, Hedwig Grossmann, Hanna Charag-Zuntz Elisabeth Cohen-Silberschmidt.
